Guided wine tours in November
As every second Sunday in November wine tourism celebrates its day. Next November 9th, the main wine regions in Europe join the celebration with a wide and varied range of proposals for wine and wine tourism lovers.
The Wine Tourism Day celebration is an initiative pioneered by the European Network of Wine Cities (RECEVIN), which has been held every year since 2009.
All about wine. This year 60 European territories participating in the European Wine Tourism Day have organized guided winery tours, wine tasting, visits to tourist and historical places of the territory, walks through vineyards, wine pairings, among other activities.
Recevin, aware of the necessity of giving value and promoting the wine territories as economic assets and of encouraging wine tourism, has contributed so that this celebration spreads across the European borders and becomes a global celebration.
American continent. In this sense, the Wine Tourism Day is strengthened because, this year for the first, the American continent has joined this European initiative. United States, Argentina and Uruguay have chosen this second weekend in November to promote and disseminate wine tourism.
This joint celebration of the Wine Tourism Day highlights the importance of wine in societies all over the world, not only from an economic point of view, but also social and human.
