Most likely the fittest woman of her age on the sunny Costa del Sol
BENALMADENA SPAIN: Outdoor training at top of the hill. You will find her in action right on the beach, sometimes on top of the mountain Calamorro with a view to Morocco or working out with group of locals and tourists in Epic Gym at the seaside town of Benalmadena. Suzanna is coaching and a woman always work our and in action.
“People invest time and a lot of money in holiday along this coast, but many invest time and are dedicated to activities, work out and wellness. For many it´s important to stay fit”, Susanna Haakana says.
She works at the real estate company Sunloma, dealing and selling apartments and villas on Costa del Sol. Originally Susanna is from Finland, she studied tourist management at universities in Spain and Finland and she speaks Finnish, Spanish, English and some Swedish.
Training means happier life
Happy life. Most likely, Susanna is the fittest woman of her age on this sunny coast of Spain. After a knee injury many years ago she was forced to stop playing volleyball and switched to gym and physical training. Now she can´t stop to work out 4-5 times a week.
“I love giving training classes for groups at the modern Epic Gym and sometimes on the beach of Benalmadena. My speciality is training groups and working out with Basicball. Training gives me a happier life. I have great passion for sports and coaching in like to give other the same passion and motivation, the way to reload batteries and change to healthier life under the sun”, she says.
Susanna is coaching groups of both young and older people. In addition, Epic Gym provides all the new equipment, personal trainers and group training from spinning, Salsa-dance to kick-boxing for children.
From party to new lifestyle
Healthy times. In general, Costa del Sol is famous for parties, beaches and melting pot for rich and famous. But times has changed.
“More tourists and local Spanish are aware of taking care of their body and change for a healthier lifestyle. For me this lifestyle gives a positive feeling and I have to admit – I like to look young”, says Susanna – working out with a Basicball 780 metres high west of Malaga, overlooking towns, beaches and spectacular views in all directions.
