Location
It’s conveniently located in the Southbank precinct and is directly linked to the Crown Complex.
The Crown complex has various casual and fine dining restaurants, bars, shops, movie cinema and its own Casino.
Accommodation
The 34sq King standard room included a luxurious King Size bed, beautiful ottoman window seat located next to the floor to ceiling windows to take in the gorgeous views of Melbourne City and a flat screen TV with in room movies and cable channels. The room also offered complimentary WIFI and ISD telephones with data-port.
The bathroom was just wonderful. It had a huge over-sized shower and was stocked up with some great amenities. Other features included large desk area, tea and coffee facilities, heating and cooling and a fully stocked mini bar.
Dining
Breakfast was at Mesh Restaurant. The extensive buffet breakfast was amazing and consisted of a variety of breakfast cereals. Also eggs, bacon, sausages and mushrooms, cold meats, cheese and fruit platters to the amazing pastries. We headed straight to the chef to make us our traditional favorite egg omelets. It’s the perfect way to start your day.
Facilities
The Deck leisure facilities were fantastic and very well maintained. The large indoor infinity pool and spa were just amazing and the water temperature was warm.
The view while in the pool was fantastic looking out onto the Casino area and was beautifully lit up in the evening. We finally had a chance to test out the gym for the first time and it’s definitely a great set up.
Overall
My overall stay was absolutely fantastic and definitely exceeded my last stay.
I found The Crown Promenade to be immaculately clean and the staff is willing to go the extra mile. The staff helped in any way to make my stay more enjoyable. Sure, this is a pure luxury hotel.
