Wildlife for Flower-lowers

Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park has large collections of Rhododendrons and Camellias. Feel the wilderness to the sound of woodpeckers.

Climb Treetops at Kew Gardens
Some 18 metres (59 feet) above the ground, this walk grants you a new perspective over the London skyline while getting you closer to nature.

First Kiss in Primrose Hill
A natural viewpoint rare in this fairly flat city. But from the top of Primrose Hill you are surrounded by green fields and a stunning view across to the city lights.

Candlelight at the Globe

The Playhouse holds only 340 people with two tiers of galleries seating, a green-oak interior. All productions are lit exclusively by beeswax candles.

Romantic alternatives
London is perfect for couples and for some romantic days. I suggest a picnic to a local park, watch the sunset and enjoy your partner and a bottle and food.

Westbourne Grove
Notting Hill is the obvious choice for romantic day out. This area offers an upmarket, boutique shopping only two minutes’ walk from Portobello Road.

Romantic at Cemetery
The perfect date idea London is a romantic stroll in a cemetery may appear to be weird. But Highgate in North London has plenty of historic, cultural and attractions.

When the sun goes down, it´s time to move 40 floors up.
For something indulgent, we suggest dining at the eclectic restaurant Duck and Waffle at The Gherkin. With floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of London – also perfect for watching the sun rise over the city. From May 17th Duck and Waffle is open 24/7.

Date under the Stars

Greenwich Royal Observatory runs regular events for stargazers and astronomy evenings for couples. Here you can take star-spotting whilst you drink a glass of prosecco and to quiz astronomers about anything and everything. You can also go to one of their “Sky Tonight” events at the Planetarium.

Days out for two

This is the high-end place in Soho you head to when you want a romantic night in London. Serving classics, but also treats such as oysters and Russian caviar. Bob Bob Richard is that restaurant with the Champagne buttons. You will feel like in Gatsby´s dining room with enjoyment, glitz and gold everywhere you look.

A romantic picnic

You can pick up a ready-made hamper from a place like Fortum and Mason. That will be a luxurious and romantic picnic in one of London´s many parks. Yes, you can break out the bubbles because London´s fairly relaxed on their drinking in public laws.
