In the Mood for Love, Food and romantic

Traditional English dishes with a twist of modern European

DORSET, ENGLAND: A romantic break. The award-winning and Grade Listed Summer Lodge Country House Hotel is a match made in heaven at the deeply romantic town of Evershot in West Dorset. A prime location with a magical view. Inside a fine-dining restaurant and the award-winning Gastro Pub at a 16th century country inn just across the road. A place for food and mood for love.

Expect exemplary service and warm smiles at every turn, at the epitome of luxurious five-star country house charm. The privately owned Relais & Châteaux country house hotel is set in 4 acres, offers facilities such as croquet lawn, heated indoor pool, tennis court and spa.  The hotel adjoins a 600-acre deer park offering excellent walking and an abundance of wildlife and flowers throughout the year.

Food and wine. Dining at Summer Lodge is a truly memorable experience. Chef Steven and his team serve traditional English dishes with a twist of modern European. It’s a wonderful combination that has had critics scribbling in their napkins! Offering the finest meats and the most delicately cooked fish dishes, many of the ingredients are sourced from the wealth of fine produce found locality and from own gardens. The restaurant was awarded Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2017.

The Acorn Inn. This Gastro pub across the road is the place for more homely food Built in the 16th century from the honey coloured local stone this old coaching inn still retains its original historical character and charm with its old beams, low ceilings, oak panelling, flagstone floors and roaring open fires is little changed.
