Location
With location close to shops and restaurants, Hotel Sercotel Cristina has a great location. If you also get a room with ocean view you are lucky as these rooms have beautiful view to Las Canteras beach, though this is a less sunny part of the beach. The hotel is also close to the harbour and Santa Catalina park.
Room.
Messy but at least my room was clean. The Hotel has five stars but compared to Reina Isabell I would give it only three. The Internet in the room did not work and the lobby could not manage to solve the problem. This is not a five-star hotel!
Food & Drink
One advantage; this hotels is located near the restaurant area in Las Palmas, but the hotel’s breakfast keeps an acceptable quality.
Pros
Very close to the beach. You almost get beach sand on your feet at the lobby. It is also close to the Santa Catalina park, and the harbour.
Cons
Why spend money on this hotel if nearby hotel Isabel Reina has rooms available. Sercotel Cristina is full of airline crews on stopover at Gran Canaria International Airport.
Business Service
I ended up in the wrong place, and my critic is mainly based on the fact they could not get me online in my room at a business hotel.
Value
The location is great but there are better options nearby. The only really good reason to stay here is if you are sent here as part of an airline crew – and stay for free.
