Smokehouse, Islington. This is a gastro-pub dishing up barbequed flavours and smoked and grilled meats alongside over 60 craft beers. Posh Carvery in Covent Garden
Simpson´s in the Strand has served roasts since 1848. Unlike most carveries, at this posh place Scottish beef and Welch lamb are carved on a silver trolley by your table. Historic Simpson´s use to be home of chess and a favorite haunt for Sherlock Holmes. Now it´s all about carving meat every day. A 30 day dry aged roast rib beef served from the trolley with all the trimmings costs 42 pounds.
